We are 1.4 miles from the New Glarus Brewery. It is nestled in the hill side right outside of town. It is a quick 4 minute drive. It does not have any paved walking paths to get there, we would not suggest walking there.

We are half a mile to downtown New Glarus. There is a great walking/biking path that you can get on right in front of our motel that will take you right into town.

The new owners as of early 2023 are working on breathing new life into this classic roadside motel. We have fully renovated 10 rooms. Those rooms are the family suite, 8 of the double queen rooms and 2 King Suites with jacuzzi tubs. We have 14 rooms that we have refreshed with brand new mattresses, bedding and updating touches like bedside wireless charges and new decor on the walls.

We do not have continental breakfast. We do have coffee makers and coffee in the rooms for you to enjoy. Or we encourage you to find a great place in town to enjoy breakfast. Fat Cat is one of our favorites!

Great question! We’re very close to nature and the town, but keep in mind that we are in a rural part of Wisconsin and so we don’t have access to public transportation, rideshare (Uber/Lyft), or Taxis. Bring your bikes, or we are very walkable to town and the New Glarus State Park.

We take full payment at the time of booking. There is a $50 cancellation fee. If you cancel 24 prior to your reservation check in time (3pm). We will issue a refund of your remaining balance after the $50 cancellation fee has been deducted. If you cancel within the 24 hours to check in, we charge the first nights rate, and will refund any remaining nights balance.

We welcome well-behaved dogs. A maximum of 2 dogs per room is allowed. The dog(s) can not be left unattended in the room unless in a crate. To accommodate our guests with and without pets, designated pet-friendly rooms are available. There is not an extra pet fee. We offer Single King Bed rooms for our pet owners. Unfortunately, we do not allow cats or other pets to stay in our rooms. We look forward to hosting you and your pet.
